.This robust variety forms beautiful, flat, long pods with white grain and has a good yield.
The variety was registered in 1953 by the company Enßle & Sohn near Kernen. The pods are flat (so-called sword bean), slightly curved and form a thread as they mature. The variety can be used both as a green bean and as a dry bean and is also convincing in cold, wet weather.
